Overview
Battery bays sit directly under the spray booms, so they collect atomised chemical and field dust that eventually corrodes the contacts and confuses the battery gauge. This lid seals the bay with an IP54 gasket and a twist latch that opens with gloves on. The hinge is a stainless pin that will not seize after a season in wet conditions.
