What we collect

Inquiry data: the content of your inquiry, including target model, quantity, destination market, certification requirements and any file names you attach.

Technical data: IP address, browser type, device type, pages visited and referring URLs, collected through server logs and analytics.

Cookie data: identifiers stored in your browser, described in the cookie policy.

Why we collect it and on what legal basis

To answer your inquiry and prepare a quotation we rely on our legitimate interest in responding to business enquiries (Article 6(1)(f) GDPR).

To perform a contract with you, including supplier onboarding, purchase orders, shipping and after-sales service, we rely on Article 6(1)(b) GDPR.

To meet legal obligations such as commercial and tax bookkeeping we rely on Article 6(1)(c) GDPR.

To keep the website secure and measure traffic we rely on our legitimate interest in operating and improving the service (Article 6(1)(f) GDPR).

How long we keep it

Inquiry records are kept for three years from the last contact, after which they are deleted. Contractual and accounting records are kept for the periods required by Chinese and EU law, generally six to ten years.

Server logs are deleted after 90 days. Analytics data is kept in anonymised form for 26 months.

Who we share it with

We share inquiry data with the supplier whose product you enquired about, so that the supplier can respond to you directly. The supplier acts as an independent controller for that processing.

We use service providers for email delivery, hosting and analytics. They process data on our instructions under a written data processing agreement.

We disclose data only where required by law, for example in response to a valid order from a competent authority.

Your rights

You have the right to access the personal data we hold about you, to have inaccurate data corrected, to have data erased, to restrict or object to processing, and to receive a portable copy of the data you provided.

You also have the right to lodge a complaint with your local supervisory authority, for example the Autoriteit Persoonsgegevens in the Netherlands or the CNIL in France.

Cookies and your choices

Essential cookies keep the inquiry form and language selection working. They cannot be switched off without breaking the site.

Analytics cookies are optional and are only set after you accept them. You can withdraw consent at any time through the cookie banner or your browser settings.
