ISO 9001 Quality Management

ISO 9001 certifies that a factory has a documented quality management system covering production control, supplier management, corrective action and continuous improvement. For drone buyers it is a meaningful indicator of process discipline, but it is not a product certification and says nothing about flight performance or battery safety. Ask for the certificate, check the issuing body and the expiry date, and confirm the scope covers the product line you are buying rather than an unrelated division of the company.
