The EN 301 489-1 test report covers the complete radio equipment, which for a drone means the flight controller, the telemetry radio and the remote control are assessed together as one product. This matters because a controller that passes on its own can still fail alongside a telemetry module running at 2.4 GHz alongside a 5.8 GHz video link. Buyers should confirm that the report names the specific firmware and module combination shipped with the aircraft, and that re-test is triggered when the radio configuration changes. A report that covers only the standalone module is not the same thing as a report covering the delivered aircraft.
