TR-8 Thermal Search & Rescue Drone
SKU: UAV-T08-008·Security & Emergency Drones·Made to Order

Overview
The TR-8 is the platform we build for mountain rescue teams, fire services and disaster response units that need to find a person or a heat source in conditions where a human search would be unsafe or slow. The uncooled 640 × 512 sensor produces radiometric frames at 30 Hz with a thermal sensitivity of better than 50 mK, which lets the operator detect a human figure against cold terrain at around 300 m in full darkness. A high-brightness searchlight and a dual speaker array can be called on to guide a survivor toward the aircraft when voice contact is impossible. Flight time of 31 minutes with a dual-battery configuration gives roughly 25 minutes of hover time for a systematic grid search, and the rotating gimbal switches between the thermal sensor and a visible low-light camera so the operator can confirm a target before committing a rescue team. The airframe is IP54 rated for rain and dust, and the launch can be performed from a prepared pad or from a vehicle-mounted catapult.
