Overview
The FW-22 covers the routes that sit between fixed-wing range and multirotor practicality: medical sample transport across regions with no roads, scheduled parcel delivery to remote settlements, and survey transects of several hundred kilometres. A vertical take-off and landing cycle means no runway is needed, and the 4.5 hour endurance at 22 m/s cruise covers roughly 300 km of return leg from a single launch. The 25 kg payload bay accepts insulated medical containers, chilled parcels or survey instrumentation, and the pusher configuration with a two-blade tractor propeller leaves the wing clear for a rear cargo door. Transition from vertical to horizontal flight takes 45 seconds with no pilot input beyond a throttle command. A smart battery pack with 2.4 kWh capacity supports 8 flights per charge, and the platform is approved for BVLOS operation under EASA SORA when paired with the optional C2 link.
